  1. OMG I LOVE YOUR IDEA. I think its sooooo interessant, especially as I have done a lot of research into Dali, Bunel and Dada so I have a great interest. I think you've found such a good niche and audiences will really love this idea. Who is your actor going to be? and where are you filming this? xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. I really liked the idea of the room full of clocks and them melting I think that would be really effective and make the audience want to keep watching. How would you make the clocks melt? Would it be on after effects?

  3. Really like your idea, it will definitely interest a range of audiences and I think you will be able to capture your idea very well due to being an art student. Have you thought about how you will encorporate mise-en-scene in contrast and similarly to Dali's work and inspirations?

  4. Have a look at 'Artaud', he's a surrealist, even if you don't use him it might be interesting to research into. You have loads of ideas that are really good, but do you think you'll be able to fit this all into a short film, do you have too much story and do you need to narrow it down? also have you thought of how it might end? what happens because they're so obsessed with time? Also it might be good to think about age ranges with your characters, could you use a child or an old man?

  5. Surrealist cinema is something that very little people have done as it wasn't accepted very well when it was first, this is mainly because it has no meaning. How do you plan to have a storyline without having any plot behind it?

  6. It's really interesting that you've picked an idea from something you are interested in. This will work really well as a short film because it allows you to try out lots of creative techniques. I love the idea of the clocks, but is it achievable?

  7. I love the idea of surrealism and the clocks from Dali's paintings. And the way the character us OCD-ish about time and being on time. Have you considered using other surrealist artists as a muse?

  8. I love how different it is, how you have gone against the conention of short film, and looked into something different and unique. As an audience memeber I am really intriqued, and looking forward to how it turns out. Have you thought about locdations? actors ect x

  9. It's great that you've drawn on your inspiration from Dali to come up with a strong and original idea. You seem to have a clear image of plot and character which is really good. Have you thought about sound to emphasise your story?

  10. I'm not sure I really understand what the full film is about, but I like the idea of time and thinking about all different kinds of time and using lots of clocks to 'scare' the audience.
